On Jack Miller’s move to Ducati, leaving Danilo Petrucci’s future uncertain:

Elvin van Leerzem: Petrucci is Italian. Ducati is Italian. 1+1=……. Ducati took that decision way to soon. After the long awaited changes on the bike from Lorenzo he was getting good results.

Edwin Norris: KTM must ignore Petrucci, nice guy,too big, poor 2nd half of last season..If Pol is indeed leaving for Honda which may or may not happen ,Promote Oliveira to partner Binder in factory team ,iker & Martin on satellite ktms

João Passos: I’d be very dissapointed if this came to be [Petrucci to KTM]. Oliveira sidelined again for a well deserved promotion to factory. I’d be on my way out of principle if they did this to me.

Luka Nela Buček: This is the tunel with no light out… ? He could stay with Avintia Ducati…

On the possibility of Pol Espargaro moving to Repsol Honda Team:

Kev Brearley: I’d stay at KTM if I were him purely for the fact how hard he’s ridden and the effort gone into getting the KTM into the top ten, keep going lad ! Don’t see how he would jump on the Honda and straight away be up at the top ??‍♂️

Thomas Hunter: Pol to Repsol, Alex Marquez to Petronas Yamaha, Rossi to retire.

Vaughan Secomb: The Honda has been developed specifically for MM93, hence the reason nearly every other Honda rider is struggling with it. In saying that with the POS Pol has been riding the Honda might be a dream to ride in comparison ?

On how it could affect Alex Marquez’s future:

Lorne Walker: I didn’t agree with how Alex got his place at Honda but he deserves to race the bike for a season. Bad form from Honda.

Jayson Graye: AM73 is just a bit unlucky with timing, he hardly set testing alight with his form and PE44 has always shown good form just not premier class world champion form. Will be interesting as everyone who jumps on a Honda without the last name Marquez seems to hate it!

Rima Andersson: How ugly from HRC!!? Alex Marquez is two-time world champion, a talented and great rider. He deserved this bike! The MotoGP world championship hasn’t started yet, and HRC is already replacing Alex Marquez with another rider. Why HRC does not want to extend the contract with Alex Marquez for 2021? Why?? I can’t understand that. I think this is a disrespect to Alex Marquez from HRC. I really didn’t expect this.

On the significance of transferring:

Cris Oxley:  We have so many talented riders in MotoGP, yet (look at Scott Redding as an example) if you aren’t lucky enough to be on one of maybe 4 available race winning chassis’ at the right time, your career might well be over before it starts.

Dean Jamieson: Scott Redding is a surprise casualty of what is a remarkable excess of ever more talented riders appearing. Aprilia, KTM and Suzuki are saving the championship by expanding the available toolkit.

Govind Sreekumar: If you can’t find a good bike, build a good bike around you. Think of Dovizioso as the ideal example. Kicked out of Honda, had a satellite Yamaha and then moved to a struggling Ducati and brought them to the front of the grid.
